On the afternoon of last Wednesday (16), officers from the 2nd BPChoque, on patrol with motorcycles, were dispatched by Copom to investigate neighbours' complaints about gunfire noise at an empty lot located on Dr. José Bento Ferreira street, in the south zone of the city of São Paulo.
According to information disclosed by the PMESP News Portal, upon approaching the individual, the officers came across an unlicensed revolver hanging from his waist. The weapon, calibre 38, had three bullets in the chamber. In searching his vehicle, the team also located half a dozen extra rounds.
The detainee was taken to the 26th District Police Station, where the matter was converted into an occurrence report. Investigations continue.
