Third suspect in attack on Rota officer in SP arrested in Ipiranga
The Military Police arrested a 33-year-old man suspected of concealing the motorcycle used in an attack against Rota lieutenant Ronickson Pimentel, who was shot in the head in São Caetano do Sul.

The Military Police arrested, on Tuesday, a 33-year-old man suspected of involvement in an attack against Rota lieutenant Ronickson Pimentel dos Santos, struck by gunshots to the head on 27 June in São Caetano do Sul, in the ABC Paulista region. The case is being investigated by the Department of Homicides and Protection of Persons (DHPP).
According to oglobo.globo.com, military police were carrying out patrols in the Ipiranga region, in the South Zone of São Paulo, when they recognised the suspect, who had an outstanding arrest warrant. He was taken to the DHPP, responsible for the investigation.
According to the investigation, the detainee would have concealed the motorcycle used in the crime. The day after the attack, two other suspects accused of providing logistical support to the operation had already been arrested.
The attack occurred when Pimentel was returning from the gym. The officer was helped and taken to Mário Covas State Hospital, in Santo André, where he remains hospitalised in a serious condition, but with favourable clinical progress, according to the most recent medical report released by the Military Police.
The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) continues searching for Hércules da Costa Siqueira, known by the aliases "Golias" and "Peruca", identified as the shooter in the case. The SSP is offering a reward of R$ 50,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of the suspect.
The investigation continues, and the case was recorded at the DHPP as the apprehension of a wanted person.
