A man was shot dead by motorcycle-riding hitmen whilst working in his mechanics workshop in Suba. Witnesses reported at least three gunshots.

A man lost his life on Saturday 17 October in the Suba locality, north of Bogotá, after being attacked by hitmen travelling by motorcycle, according to reporting by eltiempo.com.
The crime occurred whilst the victim was working in his own mechanics workshop. Witnesses present at the scene heard approximately three gunshots before the attackers fled the scene.
Several people gathered in the surroundings of the crime scene following the shooting. Authorities travelled to the location to begin investigative work.
The incident adds to a series of violent acts recorded in the Suba locality over recent weeks. At present, no arrests related to the case have been reported and a motive for the attack has not been publicly established.
