Arrest and house searches following series of robberies in Curaçao
The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has detained a 19-year-old man and carried out three house searches as part of ongoing robbery investigations, according to NU.cw (Dutch Caribbean), citing a police press release.
The arrest took place on Sunday at Kaya Dalpega and is linked to a robbery on 1 October at Kaya Willem J. Cratz. The robbery team is investigating whether the suspect is involved in multiple robberies. He remains in custody until the investigation is concluded.
On Monday, the robbery team carried out three house searches: two at Kaya Berom and one in Weto. During these searches, police seized various items for further investigation. No arrests were made during the searches.
