During the operations, a total of 594 vehicles and 751 occupants were checked. Additionally, 36 inspections were carried out at establishments, which resulted in 3 citations.
Traffic control checks resulted in 343 citations for various violations, whilst 4 traffic violation cases remain under investigation. Of these citations, 111 concerned speeding. A total of 10 vehicles were impounded.
A total of 122 alcohol breath tests were conducted, which resulted in 5 citations. Furthermore, 5 preliminary drug tests were carried out, with 3 positive results.
The Police announced that crime prevention and suppression operations continue daily with enhanced presence, targeted checks and immediate operational action, with the aim of ensuring public order and protecting citizens.
