In Geretsried, a town in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, police stopped a drug trafficking operation on Tuesday. Officers took three people into custody as they were about to complete a transaction with narcotics.

According to investigators, an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old intended to hand over approximately 500 grammes of cocaine to a 28-year-old man in the region north of Munich. Police were able to prevent the exchange and apprehend all three individuals involved.

A judge subsequently ordered the detention of the older alleged dealer. The 21-year-old is now in remand custody. The two remaining detainees were released after police questioning.
