In the Hanseatic city, a man from the film industry has become instrumental in supporting investigators. Marek Erhardt, whom viewers know from various crime productions, noticed an exhibitionist whilst shopping.
The perpetrator had committed sexual offences against women and had also assaulted minors. Rather than ignoring the incident, the actor alerted officers and kept watch on the suspect. He followed him through several streets in the district.
Emergency services arrived with multiple vehicles and arrested the man. Erhardt, who normally acts as an investigator only in front of the camera, subsequently appealed to the public not to look away when crimes occur.
