Military drone with five kilogrammes of explosives found in Estonian field
A local resident found a drone on a mowed hay field in Reuge municipality on 10 June, local officials reported. This is reported by ERR.
The report noted that the drone may be connected to a strike carried out by Ukraine against Russia in early June.
Harry Puusepp, head of the Estonian Internal Security Service (ISS) bureau, confirmed that information about the discovery was received on the evening of 10 June.
"This person discovered the drone in tall grass when he was mowing the lawn (...). Some parts of the drone were also found in a tree, so it apparently fell from there," said H. Puusepp.
The ISS bureau head suggested that the drone may have been one of those reported when a threat was announced on 3 June.
He confirmed that approximately five kilogrammes of explosive material was attached to the drone.
