Helsinki police received an alert about a stabbing on Sunday 14 June at 15:10. The incident was located in Kurvi, just near Sörnäinen metro station. One person had sustained a wound to the body from a bladed weapon and was taken to hospital.
Authorities who rushed to the scene soon apprehended a man born in the 1980s near the scene of the incident. He is suspected of attempting to murder another person.
