Police received a report on Friday of a violent crime in the vicinity of Asemakatu 37 in Vaasa at approximately 10.30 in the morning. A person at the scene died from the injuries sustained.
The case is being investigated as manslaughter. In order to clarify the matter, police have made several arrests.
In the early evening, police appealed for information about two men seen leaving the area near the address. Later the same day, authorities announced they no longer required further tips and were focusing on investigating the events.
Police thank all citizens who reported their observations.
