Young woman killed in Dijon, mother seriously injured, brother sought
A 21-year-old woman was killed and her 60-year-old mother seriously injured during a violent family dispute in Dijon. The brother, suspected, is the subject of active searches.

A young woman of 21 was killed and her 60-year-old mother seriously injured during the night of Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 October in Dijon (Côte-d'Or). According to the public prosecutor's office, citing BFM TV, the two victims were struck with a pull-up bar found at the scene, bearing traces of blood.
The mother is suffering from serious injuries to the head and upper limbs, and her life prognosis is at stake, the public prosecutor, Arnaud Viornery, specified. The brother of the deceased victim, aged 24, is suspected of being the perpetrator. He had left the flat before the police arrived, around 3 a.m., and is currently the subject of active searches.
A flagrance inquiry was opened by the public prosecutor's office on charges of murder and attempted murder of an ascendant. The case has been entrusted to Dijon's judicial police. An autopsy of the victim is to be carried out in the coming days.
