33-year-old foreign national arrested in Attica with European arrest warrant for drugs
A 33-year-old man, a citizen of another country, was located and arrested on 8 June 2026 in the Kallithea area. A European arrest warrant had been issued against him by Scandinavian authorities, with the principal charge relating to breaches involving controlled substances.
The arrest was made by officers from the Searches Department of the Attica Crime Directorate, following special investigations and information processing. The 33-year-old is alleged to have sent, during 2024 and 2025, quantities exceeding seven kilograms along with five hundred tablets via postal parcels.
The man was taken to the prosecutor's office for continuation of the proceedings.
