Two people arrested for drugs and weapons in Preveza
Two people, one of whom is a minor, were arrested in Preveza by police officers working in drug enforcement in Ioannina. The operation took place on Sunday and concerned cases of drug trafficking in the wider region of Epirus.
During a search of the suspects' home, officers found and seized 83 grammes of raw cannabis as evidence. A pistol with a magazine, two rounds of ammunition, a digital precision scale and two mobile phones were also discovered.
A case file was compiled against the two for breaches of laws concerning narcotics and illegal possession of weapons. They were subsequently taken to the First Instance Prosecutor of Preveza.
