Armed robbery in Rododafni, Aigio: three men from Zakynthos lose €27,000

Armed man robs €27,000 and car from three car buyers in Aigio

Three men from Zakynthos fell victim to an armed robbery in Rododafni, Aigio after travelling to the area to purchase a car worth €27,000 in cash. The incident was reported by Dikastiko.gr, citing a complaint lodged with the police authorities.

According to the complaint, the three men had arranged in advance to purchase a vehicle from a resident of Rododafni. At the meeting point, they were met by a man who was reportedly to hand over the car at a price of €27,000.

Immediately after the money was handed over, the man drew a pistol and threatened the three buyers, according to their allegations. Under threat of the weapon, he took the entire amount of €27,000 from them and then left the scene, also taking with him the car itself that he was supposed to sell to them.

The incident was reported to the Hellenic Police. An investigation is underway to identify and locate the alleged perpetrator.
