Three men were remanded in custody following a police operation against drug trafficking in the wider Kavala area. A total of 13 people were arrested in areas of East Macedonia and Thrace.
The arrests were made as part of an organised operation carried out across multiple locations. Officers identified and seized significant quantities of narcotic substances, while simultaneously proceeding with the arrest of multiple individuals involved in the trafficking.
Three of those arrested were brought before judicial authorities, which decided to remand them in custody. The remaining arrested individuals were released with restrictive conditions or bail.
The operation is part of the broader action by police services to combat drug trafficking in the East Macedonia and Thrace region. Investigations are continuing to identify possible connections with wider criminal networks.
