Authorities in Chalkidiki have uncovered a fraud case against a minor. An unknown perpetrator who posed as an insurance broker managed to obtain jewellery worth €5,500 from a 13-year-old girl.
The incident occurred in Chalkidiki, in Central Macedonia. The perpetrator approached the minor and, using the guise of an alleged insurance broker, persuaded her to hand over the jewellery to him.
According to information from the Athens-Macedonia News Agency, the value of the jewellery that was taken amounts to €5,500. Police authorities have launched a manhunt to locate and apprehend the perpetrator.
The case has caused concern in the local community, as the perpetrator targeted a minor. Investigations are ongoing.
