On the morning of Wednesday, 24 June 2026, strong police forces from the Directorate for Combating Organised Crime (DGOA) were mobilised in Mykonos. The objective of the operation was to dismantle a group allegedly involved in the trafficking of illegal substances.

To date, five people are in custody on charges of participation in the specific activity. During the searches carried out, various types of drugs were found and seized.

More specifically, the authorities identified cocaine, ketamine, methamphetamine, ecstasy pills and raw cannabis.
