Six Croatian citizens and one Serbian citizen were arrested on Friday for forging Croatian passports, OCCRP reports. The documents were suspected of being in use by high-profile criminals.
The operation is part of a series of operations conducted across the Balkans and south-eastern Europe aimed at combating drug and weapons trafficking, migrant smuggling and related forms of organised crime.
