Woman arrested for stealing police officer's service pistol in Sinj
The Split-Dalmatia police have arrested a 29-year-old woman suspected of stealing a pistol from a police officer's home in Sinj. A 38-year-old man has also been detained on suspicion of concealment.

The Split-Dalmatia police have arrested a 29-year-old woman suspected of taking a service weapon from a police officer's house in Sinj, according to 24sata. The officer reported the theft on 2 June, when he discovered the pistol had gone missing from an unlocked cabinet. A woman who had previously visited him became the main suspect.
An investigation was launched immediately following the report. Police located and arrested the suspect and recovered the stolen pistol at the station.
As part of the same investigation, a 38-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of concealment. A criminal report will be filed against him.
The competent Municipal State Attorney's Office will receive the criminal report against the 29-year-old woman. However, sanctions also await the police officer himself — disciplinary proceedings are being initiated against him on suspicion of a serious disciplinary violation, as he had kept the service weapon in an unlocked cabinet.
