A 17-year-old boy has killed his aunt, a 53-year-old teacher, in San Stino di Livenza (Venice). The young man has confessed to throwing the body into a canal. Search operations, including by helicopter, have been suspended and will resume tomorrow morning.

A 17-year-old boy has killed his aunt, a 53-year-old teacher, in San Stino di Livenza, in the province of Venice. The young man has confessed to the crime and has stated that he threw the victim's body into a canal.
The search operations for the body, conducted by firefighters with a helicopter and drones, concluded without success even in the final evening sweep. The Drago helicopter, which arrived in the area in the late afternoon, found no useful traces.
Rescue workers have scheduled to resume the searches at 8:45 tomorrow morning. The searches will continue both from above, using a helicopter and drones, and from within the canal with rigid inflatable boats from the SAF unit and divers.
