Footballer Alessandro Bastoni, 27, centre-back for Inter, is the subject of an investigation conducted by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office for the offence of child prostitution. According to reports from ERT News, magistrates Bruna Albertini and Rosaria Stanià are coordinating the investigation.
The inquiry centres on an alleged encounter that took place in June 2020 with a girl who had not yet turned 18 at that time. Investigators claim to have identified contact between the player and the young woman through intercepted communications during the investigation. The role of an employee of the events agency Ma.De., based in Cinisello Balsamo, is said to have emerged in the arrangement of the encounter.
The player's legal position remains undefined. The girl, heard as a witness, stated that there had been no sexual intercourse between her and the player. The magistrates are awaiting evaluation of all evidence gathered, including possible questioning of the footballer.
In the same context, the Financial Police summoned three other Serie A players as witnesses: Daniele Maldini, Riccardo Calafiori and Kevin Bonifazi. None of the three is under investigation and their involvement is limited solely to providing information useful to the inquiry.
The Ma.De. agency, already in the sights of the Financial Police for allegations of prostitution exploitation, organised events and parties for a wealthy clientele, including athletes and entertainment figures. The owners, Emanuele Buttini and Debora Ronchi, are subject to house arrest with charges of favouring prostitution. The activity of the enterprise extended from Milan to Mykonos, chosen as a destination to guarantee greater confidentiality to clients.
The defence of the two entrepreneurs maintains that the agency operated exclusively as an organiser of events and hospitality services, with no connection to prostitution-related activities, and that any private relationships between clients and women were entirely personal.
