A 47-year-old man has been arrested in Cinisello Balsamo, in the province of Milan, on suspicion of having killed his 75-year-old father and subsequently set fire to the dwelling to conceal the crime.
The victim's body was found charred inside the flat on Viale Fulvio Testi. The man, who had previous convictions for murder committed in 2017, also assaulted the firefighters who arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames.
