The carabinieri of the Ladispoli company arrested two Roman men, aged 27 and 41 respectively, accused of cocaine trafficking and aggravated threats. The arrests took place in Cerveteri, in the province of Rome, following a report filed by a couple who had suffered months of harassment.
According to the investigation, the couple's underage daughter had incurred a debt with the two dealers for the purchase of drugs. When the young woman was unable to settle the amount owed, the two traffickers began to repeatedly threaten her and her parents. The intimidating messages included death threats, such as "I'll kill you" and "I'll tear you to pieces".
The investigation, coordinated by the prosecutor's office in Civitavecchia, led to a search of the two suspects' home, where 20 grammes of cocaine and 1,400 euros in cash were found and seized, believed to be proceeds from illegal activity.
The two arrested men were taken into custody. The couple, meanwhile, left their apartment in Cerveteri to escape the nightmare of the threats.
