The Mobile Squad of Frosinone has charged a woman who, working as an agent for an energy supply company, allegedly activated an electricity supply without the consent of the account holder, having a bill sent to him for a property that did not belong to him.

Officers from the Mobile Squad of the Frosinone Police Headquarters have charged a woman deemed responsible for the crime of fraud. The woman, who worked as an agent for a well-known company in the energy sector, allegedly activated an electricity supply contract without any authorisation from the account holder.
The matter came to light when the unsuspecting victim received a particularly high invoice for consumption at a property that did not belong to him and which he had no access to. Suspicious of the deception, the man contacted the State Police, who opened an investigation into the case.
The investigation conducted by investigators made it possible to reconstruct the fraud and identify the agent as responsible for the unlawful subscription. At this time, the woman is only suspected of the crime; her situation will be examined by the judicial authority, in accordance with the constitutional principle of presumption of innocence.
