In the night between Wednesday and Thursday 18 June, Carabinieri ROS arrested a 30-year-old man originally from Gaza. The man, who was in Italy as a political refugee and worked at a pizzeria in the territory of Latiano, in the province of Brindisi, is accused of having posted support for jihad through social networks.
The operation falls within counter-terrorism and violent extremism activities conducted by law enforcement on the national territory.
