A 60-year-old international conference interpreter was found dead inside a flat located on Via Nino Oxilia, in the Nolo area of Milan, between the Central station and Viale Monza. The body of the victim, identified as Roberto Pietro Guerrino, was discovered by firefighters after he had not responded to the intercom or telephone for several hours.
Wounds consistent with a firearm were found on the body of the 60-year-old. According to initial investigative hypotheses, the man may have been killed during a robbery after an appointment. The shots are believed to have been struck to the head with a ornament.
In his professional curriculum, Guerrino had listed significant collaborations, including translations for King Charles III and former Prime Minister Mario Draghi. At the time of discovery, the man was wearing women's clothing.
Investigations have been entrusted to the police and are ongoing to reconstruct the exact sequence of events and identify those responsible for the crime.
