25-year-old delivery rider in custody for harassment of customers in Milan

The Milan Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the remand in custody of a young 25-year-old delivery rider, an asylum seeker, who worked for a home delivery service. The man is under investigation for sexual assault against three customers, taking advantage of meetings during the delivery of products ordered online.

The investigation was carried out by the Mobile Squad of the Milan Police Headquarters, starting from reports made by the young women. The first incident dates to 8 February: the young man had brought two crates of water to the entrance of a residential building and then assaulted the woman, who managed to free herself and escape after an initial moment of terror.

On 13 February the man struck again in another building, using a request for a phone assessment as a pretext to approach the victim and commit abuse. On 16 March he harassed a third young woman, again at her home entrance.

Investigators are now verifying at least seven other cases with similar dynamics. Reports against the young man date back at least to May 2025, evidence of repeated behaviour over time. For this reason, the police are launching an appeal to anyone who has suffered similar assaults to file a report.
