An operation by local police in San Donato Milanese resulted in the seizure of 11 doses of narcotics and the discovery of an illegal dormitory in the San Francesco area. The intervention was conducted Friday evening by eleven officers, coordinated by commander Luca Leone, with support from canine units.
The checks involved the railway station, two public venues, the entire Via Moro and the parks of Via Olona and Trepalle. Officers found heroin, crack and hashish. The checks also covered seventy people, some of whom were subjected to breathalyser tests to combat drink-driving. Operators of electric scooters were also inspected.
During the operation, which continued late into the night, the presence of an illegal dormitory in the San Francesco area emerged. The authorities announced clean-up operations in the coming days.
