A 16-year-old boy resident in the province of Bologna has been arrested by Verona's Digos for possession of material intended for terrorist purposes.

ANSA Cronaca reports that a 16-year-old boy resident in the province of Bologna has been arrested by Verona's Digos on suspicion of possession of material intended for terrorist purposes.
The search — personal, residential and digital — was carried out pursuant to a decree from the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court for Minors in Bologna, with the support of Bologna's Digos and the coordination of the Central Directorate of Crime Prevention Police.
The investigation began in autumn 2025 as part of the monitoring of channels linked to supremacist extremism. The checks led to the seizure of jihadist material and manuals for the manufacture of weapons.
