Police have seized 920 grammes of cocaine in the historic centre of Bolzano and arrested two men of Albanian origin.

In the courtyard of a residential complex on Via Reschen in Bolzano, a suspicious pair drew the attention of officers. The two men were behaving visibly nervously. Officers followed them into an adjoining building, where they stopped the suspects and found small quantities of narcotics.
Based on the discovery and the behaviour of the two men, police decided to conduct a thorough search of the property. The investigators' suspicion was soon confirmed in the basement. There the authorities found 920 grammes of cocaine, packaged in sachets. The apartment owner was arrested for drug trafficking and taken to Bolzano prison. The second suspect was reported for possession of narcotics.
