In the night of 6 June, between Sloka and Ķemeri stations, a brutal robbery attack occurred on the Riga–Ķemeri train. The train conductor was the victim.
The suspect used physical force against the employee and took a company bag containing money and work equipment. The attacker exited at Ķemeri station at approximately 00.05.
The injured woman was immediately taken to a medical facility.
The State Police has initiated an official investigation into the incident. Additionally, "Pasažieru vilciens" (brand "Vivi") and law enforcement are calling on anyone who was on this train or can provide useful information about the suspect to come forward.
