In the night of 6 July in Riga at the Origo shopping centre, thieves broke into the Euronics store. The attackers smashed the shop door window with large stones, according to pmo.ee.
In the morning, the scene showed smashed windows and scattered stones. The State Police has already initiated criminal proceedings for theft with breaking and entering.
An investigation is currently underway and evidence is being gathered to identify the perpetrators. The extent of the damage caused by the theft is still being clarified. Representatives of Euronics have not yet provided comments on the incident.
