Staff from Riga's Eastern District are searching for the person visible in the published photographs, who is suspected of committing a serious offence, Delfi reports.
Investigators are asking members of the public to review the published images and contact them if anyone recognises the wanted man or knows where he might be located. Information can be provided by calling 26392819 or the unified emergency helpline 112. Information can also be submitted electronically to [email protected].
Law enforcement emphasise that in accordance with the law, no one should be considered guilty until a court has issued a corresponding ruling.
Pre-trial proceedings in the case are currently ongoing.
