The Criminal Division of the Senate of the Supreme Court has overturned the ruling of the Riga Regional Court, by which all defendants in the so-called second Digital Television criminal case were found not guilty and acquitted.

The Criminal Division of the Senate of the Supreme Court has considered the prosecutor's cassation complaint and overturned the ruling of the Riga Regional Court, by which all defendants in the so-called second Digital Television criminal case were found not guilty and acquitted.
The case involved several individuals, including Rīga City Council deputy Ainārs Šlesers (Latvia First) and former Prime Minister Andris Šķēle. The case will now be reviewed again.
