Security services apprehended Ali Lmrabet on the tarmac of Tangier airport. The operation was triggered following the issuance of multiple search warrants in his name, as specified by the prosecutor's office magistrate in Casablanca in an official statement relayed by Le360.

The man is the subject of judicial proceedings owing to his alleged involvement in criminal offences. He is notably accused of having disseminated various multimedia productions on the internet including offensive criticism and insults directed at individuals and state entities. Remarks deemed prejudicial to legal bodies are also included in the file.

In compliance with orders from the prosecutor's office of the economic metropolis, the suspect was taken to the headquarters of the BNPJ in Casablanca, the unit responsible for examining the facts. He is currently in provisional detention to facilitate investigations placed under the supervision of the prosecution authorities.

His questioning is conducted within the framework of procedural rights recognised by national legislation and in application of the presumption of innocence principle. Once investigations are completed, he will be brought before investigating magistrates again to decide on the criminal measures to be pursued.
