Four foreign men have been detained following two separate police operations in San Ġiljan and Naxxar. Among the items seized are 30 packets suspected to contain cocaine, heroin and cannabis, as well as 50 cannabis plants.

Four foreign men have been arrested in two separate police operations, one focused on alleged drug trafficking on San Ġorġ Street, San Ġiljan, and another concerning illegal cannabis cultivation on Kaptan it-Torri Street, Naxxar.
The first incident occurred on Sunday evening after police received information about suspicious activity. Officers identified and searched two Somali men, aged 24 and 30. During the search, officers found approximately 30 packets containing substances suspected to be cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
In another operation on Monday morning, police conducted a raid on a residence in Naxxar where they apprehended two other men: a 27-year-old Dutch man and a 31-year-old Swedish man. During the operation, authorities seized approximately 50 cannabis plants, cannabis resin, and equipment related to drug cultivation.
All four individuals are being held in police custody in Floriana and are expected to be brought before Magistrate Nadine Sant Lia later today.
