Units from the Drug Division executed a search warrant on Thursday at a residence located in the Cantera neighbourhood of the Santurce sector.
As a result of the operation, uniformed officers succeeded in detaining two individuals who were on the property at the time of the raid. At the location, police personnel also managed to confiscate various items of criminal interest, including: two assault rifles, a handgun, quantities of narcotics and cartridges of different calibres.
According to information provided by the outlet Telemundo Puerto Rico, investigations into this case remain active and it is anticipated that new information will be disclosed as the investigation progresses.
To date, authorities have not revealed the names of those arrested or the exact nature of the charges that will be brought against them in the corresponding courts.
