Anti-drugs agents of the Puerto Rico Police detained a couple and seized rifles, a pistol, ammunition and controlled substances in an operation in the Cantera neighbourhood, Santurce.

Officers from the Drug Division of the Puerto Rico Police carried out an operation on Thursday in the Cantera neighbourhood, in the Santurce district, according to a report by Telemundo Puerto Rico.
The uniformed officers executed a home search warrant in the area, where they succeeded in apprehending two people who were in a romantic relationship.
During the procedure, the officers seized a pair of long rifles, a handgun, cartridges and several types of illicit drugs.
The man and the woman were taken into custody following the discovery of the weapons and prohibited substances.
Investigations related to this incident remain ongoing.
