Portuguese actor sentenced over domestic violence with three-year suspended sentence
A Portuguese court has sentenced actor Nuno Homem de Sá to three years in prison, with execution suspended, in connection with a domestic violence case. Audio material linking him to the facts proved crucial to the outcome of the case, as reported by Correio da Manhã.
Following the judicial decision, the theatre and television professional spoke for the first time about the case to the team of "Investigação CM". The imposed sentence also includes further restrictions: the defendant may not contact or approach the injured party, and must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet for remote surveillance over the next six months.
