A 64-year-old man was apprehended by the Judicial Police, accused of sexual crimes against a ten-year-old child in a shop in the Azores archipelago. The incident was recorded on an island belonging to the Central Group.
The complaint was filed by the child's mother. The accused was alone with the victim inside the commercial premises when the unlawful act allegedly occurred.
The authorities proceeded with the arrest of the suspect, who will be brought before a court for determination of applicable procedural restrictions.
