Armed gang robs two jewellery shops in Almada and Seixal; woman injured
A gang of three men robbed two jewellery shops in Almada and Seixal on Tuesday morning, injuring the owner of the first establishment.

An armed group of three members robbed two jewellery shops in the Setúbal district on Tuesday morning, police sources confirmed to Correio da Manhã. The robberies occurred within less than half an hour of each other, first in Cova da Piedade, Almada, and then in Amora, Seixal.
The first robbery took place at 10:50, in Cova da Piedade. The attackers assaulted the jewellery shop owner, who was injured. About 30 minutes later, at 11:20, the same group acted in Amora.
According to Correio da Manhã, the authorities link the gang to a carjacking that occurred the previous Friday in Sobreda de Caparica, where the group is believed to have stolen the vehicle used in Tuesday's robberies.
The PSP set up a security perimeter at both locations following the incidents. The Judicial Police in Setúbal was also called to assume the investigation.
