Man assaulted with gun butt in Serzedo, Vila Nova de Gaia
A youth of around 20 years old suffered a head injury after being attacked with the butt of a firearm in Serzedo. The attacker fired at the victim's feet before fleeing.
Young man injured in head with gun butt in Eusébio neighbourhood
A man of around 20 years old was injured on Friday after being assaulted in the head with the butt of a firearm in the Eusébio neighbourhood, in Serzedo, Vila Nova de Gaia, according to Correio da Manhã.
The incident occurred during the afternoon, when the victim became involved in an argument with another man. The attacker fired a shot in the direction of the young man's feet, without hitting him, before using the same firearm to strike him on the head.
Aguda firefighters provided assistance to the injured man at the scene. The victim was subsequently transported to Gaia hospital.
The attacker fled after the assault. The GNR was called to the scene.
