Man caught riding stolen e-bike in Bombarral
A 58-year-old man was detained by the GNR whilst driving an electric bicycle that had been stolen in September 2024 in the locality of Delgada, in the municipality of Bombarral.

Officers of the Guarda Nacional Republicana detained a 58-year-old man in the locality of Delgada, municipality of Bombarral, whilst he was using an electric bicycle that had been stolen in September 2024 from outside a commercial shop in the region.
During investigation procedures related to the disappearance of the bicycle, officers managed to trace the vehicle and apprehend the alleged perpetrator of the crime in possession of it. The arrest took place in flagrante delicto and resulted in recovery of the item, which is valued at €3,700.
Following his detention, the suspect was formally constituted as a defendant and the case files were forwarded to the Judicial Court of Caldas da Rainha for subsequent legal proceedings.
