Google News PT — Crime (pt) reports that a 22-year-old man was detained on Saturday, the 22nd, by the PSP in Beja, on suspicion of drug trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.
According to the Beja District Command of the PSP, the suspect had with him 1,505 doses of hashish, 560 doses of ecstasy and 1,000 doses of cannabis at the time of detention, as well as a 6.35 mm calibre pistol and one round of 7.62 mm ammunition.
The authorities also seized an iPhone, a vacuum sealing machine for packaging the drugs, a laptop computer, three knives, a pair of scissors and €911.90 in cash.
The suspect was formally charged and was subject to a Term of Identity and Residence, being required to present himself daily to the security forces in his area of residence, awaiting in freedom the further procedural steps.
