The Amadora court imposed remand in custody on a 35-year-old individual suspected of a wave of crimes against drivers in the municipality, committed between September 2025 and the current month.
According to the Public Prosecutor's Office, the defendant is accused of two violent robberies, two thefts — one aggravated — one fraudulent appropriation, three fraudulent uses of bank cards or banking data, and one act of damage. The Judiciary Police, responsible for the investigation, determined that the man approached victims using force, invading vehicles to take possession of goods and valuables. Furthermore, he used the cards of the assaulted individuals to make purchases and conduct transactions.
