Google News PT — Crime reports that a 27-year-old man was detained by the PSP in Rio de Mouro on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The detention was carried out by the Criminal Investigation Division — Sintra Criminal Investigation Squad, following the recovery of a vehicle in a situation of breach of trust. During the intervention, officers verified that the driver was transporting drugs.
A total of 599.050 individual doses of cocaine and 3.700 individual doses of hashish were seized. The PSP also seized 148.20 euros in cash and two mobile phones.
The suspect was presented to the judicial authority for an initial judicial interrogation. At the conclusion, he was ordered to comply with fortnightly reporting requirements as a precautionary measure.
