Man arrested in Sintra with almost 600 doses of cocaine in hired car
A 27-year-old man was arrested by the PSP in Rio de Mouro, Sintra, with cocaine, hashish, cash and two mobile phones in a vehicle subject to misappropriation.

The Correio da Manhã reports that investigators from the Sintra PSP arrested, last Friday, a 27-year-old man suspected of drug trafficking in the Rio de Mouro area.
The operation began when a patrol identified the vehicle driven by the suspect as being subject to misappropriation — the car, hired from an agency, should have been returned by the date of the intervention.
Following a search of the vehicle's interior, the authorities seized 599.050 doses of cocaine, 3,700 doses of hashish, €148.20 in cash and two mobile phones.
The suspect was arrested for the crime of drug trafficking. By court order, he is subject to twice-weekly reporting to the police authorities.
