34-year-old influencer may face trial over hit-and-run in Amadora
The criminal investigation judge at Amadora Court heard influencer Tiago Grila on Thursday morning (25 June). The magistrate is assessing whether there is sufficient evidence to refer the case to court.
The defendant, aged 34, faces charges of serious bodily harm through negligence, abandonment of a victim, and driving without a valid licence. All of this stems from a hit-and-run incident on a pedestrian crossing in Amadora, which occurred in January of last year.
Before the judge, Grila contested all accusations. He explained that statements made in a podcast were merely a joke with no basis in truth.
The ruling that will determine whether the case proceeds to trial will be announced on 6 July.
