The Guarda Nacional Republicana arrested a 21-year-old man in the municipality of Lousada, Porto district, accused of dealing in illicit substances. The operation resulted from a complaint indicating drug-dealing activity at an accommodation unit in that area.
GNR officers went to the location specified and carried out a search. During the search, they found and confiscated several portions of drugs: six units of cocaine and nineteen of amphetamines.
The detainee was formally constituted as a defendant for the crime of drug trafficking. The case was referred for assessment by the Judicial Court of Lousada, where the necessity of imposing precautionary measures will be evaluated.
