33-year-old woman arrested for drug trafficking in Évora with over 1,200 doses
A woman was arrested in Évora following a traffic inspection, during which she was carrying hashish, cocaine and ecstasy. She was remanded in custody.

Google News PT — Crime reports that a 33-year-old woman was arrested by the PSP last Saturday in Évora during a traffic inspection operation. In her possession, 500 grams of narcotic substances were found, including hashish, cocaine and ecstasy.
Following the arrest, the authorities conducted a search of her home which resulted in the seizure of more drugs, 1,220 euros in cash and various materials associated with drug trafficking. In total, the PSP recorded 1,173 doses of hashish, 102 of ecstasy and 15 of cocaine.
The accused is strongly suspected of engaging in criminal activity for at least one year. She was brought before the Public Prosecution Service in Évora, where the prosecution requested the most severe measure of constraint — remand in custody — citing the danger of continuation of the activity and interference with the investigation. The court agreed with the measure.
Investigations are ongoing.
